Etched above is a brahmin warping around his struggling son the holy thread, which in this age of reservations, has become barbed. Got rid of mine long back but the scars remain. More than ever. As fresh as ever.
I somehow think however that a "thread following" brahmin has more inner discipline and control, barring some rigid practices, I think the teachings are classic
